Alba’s Carnevale Wine Dinner!

Carnevale is a festival which can trace its roots back to the Roman Saturnalia. Carnevale was the final hurrah as winter headed towards spring, and the long Lenten season of fasting and abstinence. It was a last chance to indulge the passions of the flesh, in more ways than one. This dinner features four classic Venetian dishes, paired with wines from Masi, one of Veneto’s most prestigious producers.

Colterra and Natural Wine Co’s Trentino Alto Adige Wine Dinner

One main distinction between Trentino and Alto Adige production is the fact that in the northern area the wines are produced mostly by small family owned and managed wineries that sell their product locally with limited exports to Germany and Austria. Trentino on the other hand counts on a large number of growers who joined into large cooperatives, such as Ca’vit and Mezzacorona, which produce wines that have consistent taste and characteristics year after year. Join Bradford Heap and Natural Wine Co. as we take a wonderful journey through this stunningly beautiful region where the wines and food are magnificent.
