Quick Overview
The Mediterranean climate, the location amidst a landscape of low hills and the presence of oak woods all contribute to the biodiversity of this wine. Uva and Aglianico are grapes with nuances of baked roots and have a higher acidity in general. In combination with Montepulciano, this wine yields flavors of dried cherries, baked root and black fruits. Give this wine a bit of time to open in the glass. This bottle will be best when served with rustic cuisine such as hearty red meats or grilled meat and/or vegetable pasta dishes with capers and olives (try Puttanesca!).
