VALUE WINE –

EL CIRCO CONTORSIONISTA CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2016

Carinena, Spain 100% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Carinena is one of Spain’s most traditional wine producing regions. The grapes for El Circo are harvested from 40 year old vines

grown on poor soil that is dry farmed. Although Cabernet is often blended in Spanish wines the are not a lot of single varietal

Cabernets produced in Spain. This label is inspired by the magic of the circus and its ability to evoke the sense and touch the

emotions of all people no matter where they come from. There is a rather aromatic nose of blackberry fruit with a bit of juniper.

The wine is soft with gentle tannins and generous flavors of blackberries, violets and black olive. A nice Cabernet for the price!

ECO WINE –

CHAIS ST. LAURENT BOURGUEIL “La CHOPINIERE”

Loire Valley, France 100% Cabernet Franc

Bourgueil is a qualitatively important Touraine dry red wine appellation even though quantitatively small (1500 hectares) and is

home to some of the finest Cabernet Franc in the world. This single vineyard wine is made from vines growing on calcareous clay

and sandy soils overlooking the River Loire. The wine is medium bodied and fleshy with lovely flavors of black cherry violet, spice,

raspberry and minerals. Grainy tannins lend a fine structure and aging ability. Organically farmed and produced, aged for 12 months

in French oak barrels.

WHITE WINE

–ANA SAUVIGNON BLANC 2016

Marlborough, New Zealand 100% Sauvignon Blanc

This Delicious Sauvignon Blanc comes from the Awatere Valley, a subzone of Marlborough. The valley is cool, dry and rocky,

conditions that set the stage for a wine that’s different from other Marlborough Sauvignons. Fresh aromas of citrus and cut grass

give rise to flavors of tangerine, grapefruit and citrus blossoms. Well balanced but not overpowering acidity make this a delicious

wine.

RED WINE- PUNTA DE FLECHES MALBEC 2014

Mendoza, Argentina 100% Malbec

The name means “Spike of Arrows”, referring to the five arrows , emblem of the Rothschild Family of France (this is a joint project

between Baron Benjamin Rothschild and Laurent Dassault). The winery and the vineyard, planted at 1100 meters in the Andean

foothills, share the name of Fleches de Los Andes. This is a juicy and supple wine with a food friendly acidity. It is full bodied and

mouth filling and is generously flavored with fleshy black plums and blackberry. Gentle tannins allow easy drinking yet enough

support for complexity. Fantastic with BBQ.

NEW WORLD WINE

–METHOD CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2014

This wine, one of the wines under the Precision Wine Company portfolio, is a quintessential Cabernet Sauvignon . The diverse

sources for this wine exemplify the Napa Valley terroir. The strong traditional bouquet layer of ripe black cherry, dark cassis,

aromatic violets and savory curry spices is rooted by earthy undertones. With clear fruit throughout the palate, this medium bodied

wine has well structured tannin balanced by a nuance of toffee and caramel. A well made and varietally correct wine.

OLD WORLD WINE

 –SALCIS CRIANZA 2010

Ribera del Duero, Spain 100% Tempranillo

Ribera del Duero and Rioja are the two main regions of Spain where Tempranillo is king. Unlike Rioja where other grapes such as

Graciano, Garnacha or Cabernet might be blended into the wine, the wines from here tend to be 100% Tempranillo. There is less use

of oak than in Rioja and the wines tend to be bolder and more fruit forward. The grapes for this wine are hand picked from vines

over 50 years old. Maceration is for 30 days and then the wine is aged in oak for 12 months. The nose is of intense red fruit, vanilla

and mineral. It is elegant and full bodies on the palate with rich flavors of red cherry and plum. Silky tannins give gentle support and

good acidity makes for food friendliness. Try with game and hearty stews.
