  1. A. Margaine Demi-Sec NV

    A. Margaine Demi-Sec NV

The NV Demi-Sec Premier Cru is one of the very finest wines I tasted in its category. Margaine's Demi-Sec flows with generous white peaches, sweet spices and flowers as well as a rich, textured personality that is impossible not to admire. Despite its generosity, the signature Margaine focus is always in sight. The blend is the same as in the Brut Premier Cru, with dosage of 27 grams per liter. Disgorged June, 2010. Anticipated maturity: 2010-2014. This small estate is located in Villers-Marmery, on the easternmost reaches of the Montagne de Reims, an area dominated by the presence of red grapes. The particular clone of Chardonnay planted in these parts is believed to be especially perfumed. - 92 points, Antonio Galloni, Wine Advocate Learn More

    Bad Boy

Jean-Luc Thunevin started the "garage wine" movement - wines made in small quantities with intense fruit concentration and power. This wine is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. It is fruit forward for a Bordeaux but still has ample complexity and a chewy tanninc structure. There are aromas of ripe blackberry and blueberry followed on the palate by dark berry, plum and spice. Delicious with your next tenderloin. venison steak or bison burger. Learn More

  6. Bieler Pere et Fils Rose

    Bieler Pere et Fils Rose

A blend of 55% syrah, 25% grenache, 15% cabernet sauvignon & 5% cinsault. The fruit was grown on south facing chalky and limestone vineyards at 250-400m. The grapes were harvested by machines at night and within 2 hours very gently pressed to maximize the fresh, delicate aromas and light color that we aim for. Fermentation with multiple yeasts, and aging in stainless steel tanks with regularly stirred fine lees for an extended period to broaden the mid pallet. In addition to the usual raspberry, cherry, and wild strawberry red fruit aromas, there's a citrusy (grapefruit) and slightly floral note with the important underlying savory structure of lavender, grass and herbs de Provence. Bollinger Brut Champagne Cuvee

94 points Wine Spectator! "A rich, smoky Champagne, with hints of marzipan and fennel seed accenting honeyed malt, bread dough, baked apple and gingersnap flavors. It's all focused by intense acidity, which meshes beautifully into the layers of flavor and refined texture, with a lingering finish. Drink now through 2021. 8,000 cases imported." -AN Learn More

  9. Bollinger R.D. 2002 50th Anniversary Extra Brut

    Bollinger R.D. 2002 50th Anniversary Extra Brut

    99 points James Suckling
"Super fresh, this is striking given the 10 years in the cellars; it has a fine citrus nose - plenty of lemon, grapefruit, yellow chalky notes, some lighter floral elements too. The palate is super dry (dosage at 3-4g) and there's a silky, sherbet-like texture, smooth, fine and long. The citrus flavours give way to the driving surging acidity, thunderous acidity, really driving and powerful. The finish twists very slowly through to light-toasted cashew fruit flavours, but lemon citrus prevails. This is thrilling Champagne. Disgorged 22nd October, 2013. Drink from 2016."
