  1. O'Shaughnessy Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon

    O'Shaughnessy Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon

97+ points Antonio Galloni, Wine Advocate Dark red cherries, iron, crushed rocks, flowers and mint are all layered into the 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Mt. Veeder. Layers of bright underlying minerality and acidity give the 2010 much of its energy and sheer thrust. This is another exceptional wine, but readers will have to be patient. Anticipated maturity: 2018-2030. Learn More

  2. Graham's Vintage Port 2011

    Graham's Vintage Port 2011

95-97 points Neal Martin, Wine Advocate
"The 2011 Graham's comes from the five quintas that have been the source for many years (Malvedos, Tua, Vila Velha, das Lages and Vale de Malhadas). It represents a selection of the 131 pipes from a total production of 1,454 and is a blend of 40% Touriga Nacional, 31% Touriga Franca, 6% Sousao and 23% mixture of very old vines. It has a more serious bouquet compared to the Dow, with beguiling scents of blackberry, wild hedgerow, tobacco and cloves. Straight-laced, very well-defined and compelling, the palate is medium-bodied with very fine tannins and supremely well-judged acidity. It is utterly harmonious, with a pure core of ripe black cherries, damson, marmalade, clove and spices, and the finish lingers long in the mouth." Learn More

  3. Clos Des Papes Chateauneuf Du Pape Rouge

Clos Des Papes Chateauneuf Du Pape Rouge

95-98 points, Jeb Dunnuck, Wine Advocate:
"Tasted from multiple foudres, the 2012 Chateauneuf du Pape is stunning! Showing surprising depth and concentration in the vintage, with full-bodied richness and texture, all of the samples showed perfumed, complex aromatics, fantastic mid-palates and serious back-end structure. Less forward than the 2011, with plenty of oomph, it will most likely require short-term cellaring to come around, and have a broad drink window." Learn More

  4. Castello dei Rampolla Sammarco

    Castello dei Rampolla Sammarco

95 points Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media
"The 2009 Sammarco will thrill Rampolla fans who have some of the more structured vintages aging in the cellar. Layered and expressive, the 2009 is wonderfully open today. Grilled herbs, tar, licorice, black cherries and currants meld together in thise seamless, voluptuous wine. I don't think I have ever tasted such a succulent, young Sammarco that delivers so much pleasure at this early stage. The recent increase in Merlot has done wonders to make Sammarco more accessible at a young age than in the past. This is a dazzling effort." Learn More
